PRP Microneedling

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is an autologous biological blood product rich in growth factors and other bioactive molecules that play important roles in cell proliferation, tissue growth and collagen synthesis. PRP offers therapeutic approach to wound healing and tissue damage and is now being used in sports injuries, hair loss and cosmetic procedures.

Why PRP Microneedling?

PRP Microneedling is a painless and minimally invasive procedure with no downtime. However, in terms of skin rejuvenation and results, you can expect to address:

  • Enlarged Pores
  • Acne Scars
  • Uneven Skin Tone
  • Fine Lines and Wrinkles
  • Melasma
  • Stretch marks

How Does It Work?

Microneedling is a non-invasive process in which tiny needles induce micro-injuries in the skin however, by applying platelet-rich plasma topically into the treated tissue, Microneedling techniques may be made more effective. A tiny quantity of patient blood is drawn and spun in a centrifuge to perform Microneedling using platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which distinguishes plasma from platelets. The holes caused by the needles promote the body’s natural wound healing process and increase collagen and elastin production.

The Treatment

Following a tiny blood draw, the provider will administer a topical anesthetic to the area being treated. A Microneedling pen will be used to pass over the area to create small holes in the skin, activating the body’s natural healing processes and establishing pathways for the PRP to enter the body. The PRP will be applied into the skin’s treated regions to ensure complete absorption to enter deeper into your skin. The treatment typically takes an hours and there is little to no downtime after the procedure, allowing patients to return to their daily routine the very next day.

When Will I See Results?

The body’s natural healing mechanism kicks in as soon as the micro-injuries are formed. Following Microneedling with platelet-rich plasma may take many weeks before patients notice noticeable benefits. However, the skin condition and intended goal play a significant role in this decision. We recommend undergoing treatments spaced a few weeks apart to get the desired outcomes to get the desired results. Nevertheless, patients who have problems, such as deep acne scars or substantial hyperpigmentation, may need several treatments to correct their skin concerns.

Is It Right For Me?

PRP Microneedling may benefit practically any patient who wishes to treat enlarged pores, acne scars, uneven skin tone, stretch marks, Melasma, and fine lines and wrinkles via Microneedling and PRP technology.

Furthermore, several technologies (TriPollar® RF energy, RF Microneedling, and PRP) in the treatment may enable genuinely customized therapy tailored to specific requirements and circumstances.
